It’s been a long time since I last saw a red phone box in my local town. When I was a child, they were quite common; sadly this pixel version is in a much better state than I ones I was used to (think graffiti and pee stained). Back in the day before mobile phones (yes those days existed in my lifetime), a phone box was the only method of communication if you couldn’t use the house phone. Sometimes it was the only way to guarantee privacy, especially if you were chatting with a cute boy 😉 Not the warmest thing to do on a British Winter day, but the conversations were good and kept the blood warm……and on that note I will say no more!
