It’s all about the heel

Ohh I *do* love a killer heel. In RL, I tend to avoid them but in SL, the higher the better. There’s no need to worry about twisted ankles or the effects of too much gin tipping you over in front of a policeman, leading to your knickers being flashed at them (a story for another day, perhaps). No, in SL we can be graceful, statuesque and frankly have pins all the way to our eyeballs (and some people do). So embrace those heels ladies, embrace them and drink more gin!

Nuptials

Last blog post I talked about Spring approaching and the positivity that comes with it. Spring always reminds me of weddings. Nuptials. I grew up near a church, so every Sunday my mornings were punctuated by bells in the distance from my room. Even now, I’ll see horse drawn wedding carriages or cars decked with ribbon and streamers as we approach warmer weather. I always smile, talk excitedly and watch. It brings back memories and I hope it creates happy memories for those special people too.

Aletta

Even though it’s nearly the end of February (and a horrid rainy day outside), I’m happy to report new beginnings and positivity inworld. The Trunk Show has opened it’s doors for the first round of 2020 and if you love all things feminine and wedding focused, this is the event to visit. I love showing that pieces at the event can be ‘dressed down’ as well as ‘dressed up’ and this cute top, paired with my new fave denim skirt is perfect Spring femme casual. The skirt is actually part of a 2-in-1 dress ensemble, complete with a ton of texture options to play with, so make sure you check it out too. Finally my hair – I’m so happy to report that Sn@tch is back and actively creating again. The owner hasn’t been well since last year, but is back on her feet and treating us once more to awesome designs. The Garden

Sadly, as I sit and write this, my garden is nowhere near as appealing or warm as this scene. In my mind it’s still summer and I could easily curl up on this daybed and read a book, a cup of tea nearby. I know it’s Summer in the Southern Hemisphere but up North, I want it back! I guess that’s the thing with the seasons though; the wait is worth it ❤
