Call me Honey

A bit presumptuous I know, to call me honey, but I’m in a cheeky mood. Surprisingly, for a Monday, it’s been a good day. I’ve made sure to apply some self care and I’m taking time off work to rest. I watched a cheesy Christmas movie on Netflix (Love hard – highly improbable but good fun) and I might have a gin later. I don’t know what the rest of the week will bring – I’ll probably be cursing by Friday – but right now, life is good and we should enjoy the little things. Until next time x

2020 so far….

I think this this picture accurately sums up how 2020 has gone for most people so far. But, I shall focus on the main points. 2020 has…..turned me into a booze filled, sweary, cake craving, braless hot mess LOL! I started the year so optomistic. I applied for a new job and got it! Yay! Then lockdown started. Since then, I’ve steadily progressed to the pixelated version of me you now see before you. I hope there will be Christmas presents for family….but I still need to actually buy them. I hope that I’ll lose the lockdown weight I’ve gained, but I don’t know anymore. Thankfully I haven’t taken up smoking…YET…but we still have to survive December.

On a plus, the CBD infused toilet paper from Salt & Pepper has been very useful in calming me down. Thanks to the owner 😀
