Yorkshire

As much as I enjoy setting up scenes on my own land, one thing I really love about blogging is discovering new locations inworld for photographs. The Yorkshire sim is now firmly in my fave landmarks list because put simply, the colours schemes when you visit are just beautiful. I really enjoyed playing with windlights and projectors to capture the shadows in this shot and I hope you enjoy it too. Carolling

Wynn wasn’t a natural singer, but she always gave things a good try. As she belted out the carols that night, she found herself swapping out the duller words for more *fruity* options, some of which caused the owners of the beautiful house behind her to blush. Wondering whether people were going for a coffee break, she found herself slowly abandoned by her friends and the lights in the house switched off. “Oh well” she thought. “Might as well sing another one and see if they prefer that!”

A Question of Luck

I’m a sucker for good quality clothing, hair and shoes in SL. I’m also a sucker for a bargain. A good quality freebie in SL….even better! When I have free time inworld, I love to find a good lucky board, hang out with like minded people and see what comes my way. Don’t be fooled though, it isn’t all giggles and chilled conversation. If a board has a wildcard (?) feature enabled, I’ve seen people go from smiley to ultra competitive in the time it  takes to blink. But for me, that’s part of the experience and the fun of hanging around lucky boards. You never quite know what you’re going to get.
