Yorkshire

As much as I enjoy setting up scenes on my own land, one thing I really love about blogging is discovering new locations inworld for photographs. The Yorkshire sim is now firmly in my fave landmarks list because put simply, the colours schemes when you visit are just beautiful. I really enjoyed playing with windlights and projectors to capture the shadows in this shot and I hope you enjoy it too. Ahhhh Christmas (yes, I’m saying it out loud now), here we are. Again. Another year nearly done, another opportunity to overeat and resurrect old family politics in RL and in SL…another opportunity to pick up pixel goodies! I dragged my friend on the Peace on Earth hunt this weekend and am loving some of the items you can see photographed. A good book

I love a good book, always have since I was a child. I grew up lost in worlds outside my four walls, engrossed in lives that other people lived or created. Even now as an adult, if a good book, a really good read captures my attention I won’t do anything else socially. I’ll tuck myself into bed and read for hours. I remember finishing the Kite Runner at 2am and just thinking “wow!” That’s the sign of a good book to me; one that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Do you have any to recommend to me?

Ascendant

Once again it’s a Sunday morning and I’m awake too early. So, after being the domestic goddess I am (don’t laugh), I’m sat here wondering if it’s too early/late to have a little nap. Maybe later this afternoon perhaps. While this picture shows me in ascendance, I also look at it and want to lay down and sleep. Rest. Maybe it’s possible to do both? Who knows.
