Merry Little Gothmas

I’m sure Izzy won’t mind me stealing her title, because it’s so perfect for my mood today. While my locale is bedecked with colour and festivity, I just want to wear black and hide…my personal grump corner, if you will. Christmas can be a difficult time of year for people. In my rl, we experienced a close bereavement on Christmas Eve a few years ago that now marks the season for us every year. We remember those who aren’t with us anymore. Equally, we remember the good times; the mischief moments that makes special memories. So, while my shadow guards me from behind, I look to the future, hoping for the best and positivity on the horizon ❤

Wow, I can’t believe it’s August already! I’m not one to intentionally wish my life away, but the days drag, the working weeks fly and here we are. Soon, it’ll be December and I’ll be wondering where my life is going. There’s a quote I used with my RL recently “as children time drags but the older we get, the quicker time moves.” I also warned him we were wishing our lives away praying for the weekends. He laughed, but agreed with me. Smart man! So, what’s the purpose of this rambling? I guess it’s to simply state: enjoy today. Make the most of it. So that’s what I will do, in this August sunshine 🙂

Me and my Shadow

Although I know it should read ‘my shadow and I’. I’ve been chilling with my shadow a lot recently and I have Salacity to thank for it. Newly released at the Pose Fair this month, there are a plethora of photo studio lights you can buy. All work inworld and as someone who lives for my LumiPro, these lights give it a good run for it’s money. Check them out at the Pose Fair this month; afterwards they’ll be on sale at the store.

I’m also loving these new boots and romper from Beautiful Dirty Rich; the colour huds match perfectly and there are plenty of patterns to choose from. It feels like summer, without having to get into a bikini 😉
