We have beautiful weather today in the UK, which makes me very happy for two reasons. Firstly, it’s the Mister’s birthday so I know he’ll spend time in the sun enjoying his doggy walks. Secondly, it puts me in the mood to sit in the sun, drink tea and listen to all the sounds of nature. If someone asks me what one thing I’ve learned from this entire lock down experience, it’s been to enjoy the little quiet moments….being in the garden, listening to birds, watching leaves rustling in the breeze and feeling the sun’s warmth seep into my skin.
