Witchwood

Melora Frost, the owner of Oubliette and Petite Mort, has very recently relocated and redesigned the sim for both of her stores at Witchwood. If you love anything Bohemian or Gothic, this is a lovely venue to explore and take photographs. If you’re a shopper and like freebies (who doesn’t?) the group is currently free to join and both stores have an abundance of group gifts and lucky boards to check out. It’s how I’ve been spending my Sunday morning, in between popping along to a few of my favourite stores to pick up some goodies. Who knows, we may even bump into each other this weekend 😉

When booty takes over

I know, I know. You’re thinking “how on earth can this title go with this picture?” It makes no sense. It should be something like “Come dance with me, my love”. Well. As one of my work colleagues said to me this week “there’s always a story with you” and there is!

This beautiful location is The Ruins at Esoteric. While Esoteric is a VIP group sim, there are three public areas that people can enjoy. VIP members can also get rez rights. One of the public areas is The Ruins and I *had* to capture the moment in my new gown. The Boss took me formal dancing afterwards and it was a perfect evening.

Being a soppy romantic I posted this picture of the evening on Facebook:

This is when booty took over. Comments about the butt on this dress filled my feed and I was left laughing, shaking my head and messaging the owner of RIOT to point out what her rigging skills had done! Needless to say I didn’t expect that one, although to be fair, it is a fantastic piece of design 😉

Throw of the Dice

Hooray for the weekend! I’ve had one of those weeks where the hours drag but the days fly. I was on a half day at work yesterday and had the luxury of some quiet time to myself. A perfect opportunity to shop (in SL), knit and watch some Van Helsing on Netflix (in RL). Last night I went to a rock gig in London and had a blast. The energy was infectious!

Sadly, the Gothic Garage Sale comes to an end soon (6th February), so if you haven’t checked out the event or the hunt…there’s still time! I’m wearing these fun heels from [QE] Designs, which are discounted at the event. The hud contains a bunch of colours, but I’ve gone for classic black today.

RIOT have also newly released these fabulous unisex chaps in the store (which are a perfect addition to my heels). There is a huge selection of male and female bodies that these chaps will fit, and they come with a ‘flat’ and ‘bulge’ panty option. Trust me, the way these pants hug my butt….you guys wanna check this out, even if it’s just perving a demo for a weekend (and then buying!)

Finally, the dice that I’m perched on are actually an animated pair, which is also a new release from Madpea. These love dice come in both PG and Adult versions and will come back with lots of fun (sexy) options when you click to play. The only thing I would say, is don’t do what I did….rez a perfect photo and then click the dice…..because it took me a little while to get my picture back to how I wanted it >.< Blogger fail lol. On a plus though, the Boss owes my navel a massage. Woot!

Henna and Silks

Every month seems to be packed with events now in my SL shopping calendar and this month is no exception. These gorgeous silks are newly released from 1313 Mokingbird Lane and are at 4Mesh. Add to it the pose from DoggMata Poses at The Underdog Event and my lovely lipstick from Nightmare at Suicide DollZ and we’re just getting started. With two other major events opening today (The Epiphany and Pocket Gacha), it seems my shopping habit will keep being satisfied for a while yet.
