Late Embrace

I’m definitely getting that Halloween feeling this month with this spooky release from Hazeel Poses. I love how October turns bloggers into either 1. spooooooky bloggers or 2. hot cocoa drinking Fall leaf bloggers. There doesn’t seem to be an in between. I either want to stab everyone and dance in their blood or hibernate and eat lots of carbs. So, dear reader….expect a bit of both as we launch into Autumn. And so it goes with one day to the next….and even one year to the next. You plod along, pay your bills, have a little fun, drink a little gin (!) and before you know it….boom! 2017 comes to an end and 2018 is there. On the horizon. Yule time

I am not a fan of cold weather, but there is one thing about it I do like very much. It’s the thought of wrapping up warm in front of a roaring fire while the cold is outside. I can just see myself right now, curled up on this chair, wrapped in a blanket with a book, periodically watching the kitten play and trying to stop her destroying the presents. It’s a homely thought and one I’ll enjoy for the rest of the day (stuck in work…boo!)

The Women Only Hunt – June 2017 only!

The Women Only Hunt 3 is in full swing until the 24th June, so make sure you check it out. As a free hunt, I hitched my britches and teleported all over the grid to pick up some lovely goodies to share with you folks. I really enjoy hunts because it’s a great way to discover new stores in SL. With the advent of mesh, there are so many fantastic designers inworld, it’s tough to keep up.

One thing I recommend is to grab the teleport hud you can pick up from the event office. It contains all the teleports and hunt hints in one handy hud. One piece of advice though, the hud says the Phedora gift isn’t available…trust me it is! You may have to find a separate landmark for it, but it’s worth picking up.
