Yay, it’s Sunday, you gorgeous people! As well as being the best day in the week, we start a new month. Perhaps new beginnings for people too? Turn over a new leaf, try something new or take a leap of faith. Who knows, make it yours to embrace and relish. As for me, this is my last day of rest before a hectic period starts in my life. A Life in Fantasy.

A friend commented on Facebook the other day that it can be easy to forget that SL is abundant with so many roleplay groups. It’s true – whether you’re into urban, mermaid, fantasy or sexual roleplay, SL is a mental feast for the mind. Simply teleport and find yourself immersed in a new world. Many worlds within a world, if you like. I used to roleplay within an Alice in Wonderland sim. Had quite an interesting conversation with a Cheshire cat once 😉

Mystical Market (run by Dark Passions Events) opened it’s doors yesterday and is an abundance of clothing, accessories, furniture and decor with plenty of special offers to buy. There is also a 5L hunt taking place during the event. It runs until the 14th August so you have plenty of time to get to the event and have a browse. You may find it inspires you to try a new look, head to a roleplay sim or even live your life in fantasy. Who knows?

One Scoop or Two?

I have a little routine with my RL, I always show my blog pictures and we play a little game “would you take Wynn home to meet the mother in this outfit”. Most of the time it’s a 50/50 split and I’m ok with that. Today, his attention was drawn to my ice cream pose, with the comment “you need more ice cream.” He is a wise man – indeed I do! Two scoops, in this situation, is definitely not enough 😀

When good Birthdays go bad….A June Blogger Challenge!

We’ve all been there. It’s a celebration and a little too much food and drink lead to far too much emotion, queasiness and well….a little more….Either way the effects aren’t pleasant and this scene is reminiscent of my 18th birthday oh so many years ago. One lesson I learned that night was warm champagne cocktails do NOT agree with me, although I suspect they wouldn’t agree with anyone. Ahhh foolish youth; I thought I knew it all and actually I knew very little!
