L’amour

She loved his beautiful heart. Until he broke hers.

Love. It makes us do amazing things ….. and crazy things too. It can lift us incredibly high, but also break and dash us on the rocks. The boundaries between love and hate are very closely linked, especially in a break up. It doesn’t take long to switch from one mood to the other and then flip back again just as quickly. There are two very important things I believe that are telling in a relationship and in love:

1. How do they react when you have an argument? Do they defend themselves? Do they look for a solution? Do they care to look beyond their own needs to help you work through yours?
2. Do you feel like you want to be the best version of ‘you’ when you are with them? Just as important, are they trying to be the best version of ‘them’ when they are with you? Both are opposing sides of the same coin but equally important.

When booty takes over

I know, I know. You’re thinking “how on earth can this title go with this picture?” It makes no sense. It should be something like “Come dance with me, my love”. Well. As one of my work colleagues said to me this week “there’s always a story with you” and there is!

This beautiful location is The Ruins at Esoteric. While Esoteric is a VIP group sim, there are three public areas that people can enjoy. VIP members can also get rez rights. One of the public areas is The Ruins and I *had* to capture the moment in my new gown. The Boss took me formal dancing afterwards and it was a perfect evening.

This is when booty took over. Comments about the butt on this dress filled my feed and I was left laughing, shaking my head and messaging the owner of RIOT to point out what her rigging skills had done! Needless to say I didn’t expect that one, although to be fair, it is a fantastic piece of design 😉

Zesty

Summer is officially upon us and I’m craving all things citrus. Lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit…anything that has a little zest to it. I want to use the word ‘tart’ but there are so many corrupters in pixel land, I suspect my words would be misconstrued!

I took some time to visit (ok, tp hammer like there’s no tomorrow) the Epiphany this week and managed to grab some gorgeous items that appeal to my summery zesty side. Add a little ink, some jewellery and a matching bikini and I’m ready to lay back and enjoy the sea air on my skin. Bliss.
