In the Night

I love dressing up. It’s one thing I remember as a child at nursery. Whenever we had free time, I’d be diving down the dressing up box, playing pretend and turning myself into a princess. One event I love dressing up for now is the Monthly Formal at Esoteric that the Mister and I organise. He’s the Musical Maestro and I tend to string some words together in an attempt to be amusing. I mention this today for two reasons. Firstly, Formal is always the first Saturday of the month (today!) and secondly, I’ve seen friends on Facebook wondering out loud whether there are events/communities inworld they can be part of. For anyone who asks, I always say the same thing “come to our event. The music is superb and we focus on decent, interactive conversation.” So try something new today, step out of your comfort zone and take a risk. It might be teleporting off your platform to our event. Heck, it could be checking out event listings and trying a new destination you’ve never heard of before. You never know, you may just meet your next ‘band of brothers’ just around the corner.
