I know, I should be filling my blog with festive images; after all it’s now the 20th December. I should be wearing a fluffy hat and tempting the big guy with promises of being naughty and nice. But today, I just can’t. I want to reach heavenward and capture stardust in my hands. Trail it through my fingers. Experience magic. Christmas can wait for a day. Well here we are my lovelies. After two glorious weeks, I drag my sorry ass back to work and see what’s sitting in my email inbox (and weep). Better Roads Lay Ahead

This title particularly resonates for me today, because a dear friend is going through a rough time. There may be a period where things are fine, life is good and negative thoughts are kept at bay. Then something will happen and that house of cards, that delicate spiderweb of happiness shatters and a world falls apart. We all have friends like this, I’m sure. Friends who feel fragile and need to be reminded that better roads lay ahead. In fact, that road is already being trodden on and this person just needs to keep walking, slowly but surely. Forwards. Onwards. Upwards. ❤ to you, my dear. You know who you are.
