Good morning my little buttercups. Yes, it’s Sunday morning! Still another day before we have to go back to being “professional” and “hard workers”. Note how they had their own little speech marks. Did you feel me doing the ‘fingers’ as I typed that? you betcha 😉

At least we can still have a bit of fun today. Perhaps a little mischief. Who knows, even some cake and alcohol *gasp*! However you decide to spend your Sunday, I hope it makes you happy and ready for the week ahead (well as much as anyone can be).

Space Age Daydream

Sometimes you see an item and you just think “gaaaah, I have to share this with the world!” This amazing walker robot is one such item. It is bento rigged to attach to your body, which is brilliant because no vehicle rezzer is needed. I ended up dragging my bff to the store this weekend to buy one and race her around the land (the store has a road, which is really fun!) Needless to say, I ended up at the bottom of a fishing lake while she laughed at me but that’s a story for another day!

However, this one product then inspired the above scene – a perfect Space Age Daydream (and yes, I keep having Bowie on repeat in my head every time I type that statement). I wonder what a Space Age Daydream would be. Would it be something wondrous or horrific? Would the dreamer want to be back home, with Terra Firma beneath her feet or would she happily roam the stars? What companions would she take with her? Is she running from her past or is she journeying towards the future? In truth, I don’t know, but that’s the fun of Second Life – we take the time to explore and discover.

Ohhh how enticing that offer sounds! Especially as I have cookies to offer. Or, do I because it looks like I’m about to scoff the lot. While I hate the weather changes that are all around us at the moment, one thing I do enjoy during Autumn are the seasonal colour changes we experience. We move into yellows, oranges, rusts and they’re colours I’ve recently fallen in love with. As a traditional pinks/purples girl, Earth tones never featured on my radar but now I look forward to seeing them everywhere. I don’t know if this is a sign of maturity (I hope not!) as I read somewhere that the colours you’re attracted to denote personality traits, but who knows? For the moment, I’m just happy to enjoy the season and munch on these cookies.

Ahoy Sailors! Come aboard! Ok, that’s my limit…. The most nautical I get is dipping my toe in the ocean! Thankfully I found a little quite spot to rez this gorgeous boat and have a little play. I suggest you do the same. Any budding sailor should be dressed appropriately and while stockings and heels may not be usual fare in the real world, this is SL. We can look faaaabulous and avoid any hair frizz or sand in our…..nm! On that note, I best get going before I get a parking ticket, if that’s even a thing with boats? Who knows 😀
