Summer Fun Time

I love summer time; the hazy Friday afternoons where you can just sit back and enjoy a drink in a beer garden. The smell of BBQ wafting in the air. A chance to take a dip and cool down. Usually summer time for me means holidays, good food and drink. Oh, and plenty of sunshine, of course!

Being a Brit, we tend to get more rain in the year than anything else. It’s one of the reasons the home I have inworld is permanent beach/summer. A perfect cure for the misery outside my window. In fact, here’s a close up so you can see my tan lines in action:

I’ll admit, any excuse for some cute jewellery and a fab swimsuit. Love it 🙂

Coffee and Contemplation.

Today has been a day of revelations and contemplation for me. Food for thought. Mainly around graphics settings when photographing scenes inworld, of all things! But the one thing that has shone through for me was the number of people who came to my aid with suggestions, advice and support. It’s been really touching and all I can to these lovely people is thank you.

The Women Only Hunt – June 2017 only!

The Women Only Hunt 3 is in full swing until the 24th June, so make sure you check it out. As a free hunt, I hitched my britches and teleported all over the grid to pick up some lovely goodies to share with you folks. I really enjoy hunts because it’s a great way to discover new stores in SL. With the advent of mesh, there are so many fantastic designers inworld, it’s tough to keep up.

One thing I recommend is to grab the teleport hud you can pick up from the event office. It contains all the teleports and hunt hints in one handy hud. One piece of advice though, the hud says the Phedora gift isn’t available…trust me it is! You may have to find a separate landmark for it, but it’s worth picking up.

SL14 Anniversary Event – June 2017 only!

The SL14 Anniversary event is in full swing til the 26th June. Part of the celebrations is a huuuuge shopping event spanning three sims. There are an enormous number of well known stores participating, including Blueberry, Addams, Gos, Alice Project, Cae, Deadwool and many many more. Each store has a free gift and if you consider there’s three sims worth, that’s a lot of free gifts from these generous designers.

Needless to say I hitched up my pixels and headed over to each sim and grabbed what I could. All landmarks can be found HERE and some sims are harder to get into than others. I’ve picked out my favourites below, but there are many more I couldn’t fit into a photograph. What can I say? Get your asses over there before the event ends! No need to thank me……although I do like a little compliment *winks*
