If you’ve never been to Ironwood Hills, this is the month to make it your first visit! It’s usually a great spot for photographers, but this month marks their second immersive game “Paranoia”, which is free for all to participate. If you complete the game, over 30 designers have made some fantastic prizes available so make sure you head over and give it a go. A good book

I love a good book, always have since I was a child. I grew up lost in worlds outside my four walls, engrossed in lives that other people lived or created. Even now as an adult, if a good book, a really good read captures my attention I won’t do anything else socially. I’ll tuck myself into bed and read for hours. I remember finishing the Kite Runner at 2am and just thinking “wow!” That’s the sign of a good book to me; one that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Do you have any to recommend to me?

Hidden in plain sight

Sometimes, when people say they’re ok, they aren’t. When they’re asking you if you’re ok…..what they’re really asking you is “ask me if I’m ok.” They’re looking for someone to realise that they’re hurting and reach out to them. It could just be a conversation or a joke shared to break the ice. It could be a kiss, an affirmation of love and being wanted. Don’t lose sight of them; these people who are hidden in plain sight. Reach out and show them that they’re loved.
