Wow, I can’t believe it’s August already! I’m not one to intentionally wish my life away, but the days drag, the working weeks fly and here we are. Soon, it’ll be December and I’ll be wondering where my life is going. There’s a quote I used with my RL recently “as children time drags but the older we get, the quicker time moves.” I also warned him we were wishing our lives away praying for the weekends. He laughed, but agreed with me. Smart man! So, what’s the purpose of this rambling? I guess it’s to simply state: enjoy today. Make the most of it. So that’s what I will do, in this August sunshine 🙂

It’s usually a great spot for photographers, but this month marks their second immersive game “Paranoia”, which is free for all to participate. When booty takes over

I know, I know. You’re thinking “how on earth can this title go with this picture?” It makes no sense. It should be something like “Come dance with me, my love”. Well. As one of my work colleagues said to me this week “there’s always a story with you” and there is!

This beautiful location is The Ruins at Esoteric. While Esoteric is a VIP group sim, there are three public areas that people can enjoy. VIP members can also get rez rights. One of the public areas is The Ruins and I *had* to capture the moment in my new gown. The Boss took me formal dancing afterwards and it was a perfect evening.

Being a soppy romantic I posted this picture of the evening on Facebook:

This is when booty took over. Comments about the butt on this dress filled my feed and I was left laughing, shaking my head and messaging the owner of RIOT to point out what her rigging skills had done! Needless to say I didn’t expect that one, although to be fair, it is a fantastic piece of design 😉

Time to get Gothic

Yes it is! The Gothic Garage Sale has opened it’s doors and we’re in for a treat for the next two weeks. Until February 6th, a range of well known Designers have gathered to bring us lots of discounted items for our shopping pleasure. Add a 5L hunt into the mix and I was there like a shot.

Telling RL I needed some girly shopping time, I headed over and spoiled myself. There’s a fab range of decor, furniture, clothing, body items and accessories out for sale and many well known names you’ll want to check out. TBH, I think I’ll be heading back for another looksie, so don’t be surprised to see me featuring more items over the next couple of weeks.

Another thing I loved about the shopping area (apart from the bargains), were the little scenery shots dotted about the space. I popped on region windlight to take some pictures and couldn’t resist sharing them with you:
