Don’t threaten me with a good time

I tend to get songs repeating in my head. Sometimes they last a few minutes or a few hours. The worst I’ve had recently is three weeks (Don Broco – T Shirt Song: ace track if you like rock music). So today, it’s Panic At The Disco’s turn, with the above titled track. With a little nod to Rock Lobster (B-52’s classic track) it’s been strumming away for the best part of the day and slowly driving me insane. So, if I look a little miffed today, it’s for one reason plain and simple. I do wish they’d stop threatening me with a good time and deliver on the goods!

Choices

I woke this morning fully intending to complete an ‘exercise / back to fitness’ type blog post because that’s where my mind is. The diet started yesterday, which went so well….until I found the leftover Christmas cake at the back of the fridge. So today, I decided instead to focus on something glam in my second life. Leave the sweating, panting mess to my real life. Today, I’d rather my pixels look far more refined (although, I may end up blogging about the sweating panting mess another time).

Knock me down, I get straight back up again.

A couple of years ago, I learned how to ride a scooter for the first time. “A big deal?” You ask. For me, yes it is. It shows me that if I want to achieve something, I can and will. If I get knocked back, I’ll keep going until I get the hang of it. It’s something I did for me. No one else. That makes me smile every time I ride it.

This gacha set from Madpea reminds me of my first experiences on my scooter. The balloon helmet would have been very useful (as well as the balloon scooter, which you have to check out!)
