So, what do you do when it’s a lazy Sunday and the clocks finally go forward in the UK? Treat yourself to a lie in? Wash the car? Take the dog for a lazy walk and end up in a pub for a beer? Well….rather stupidly, I decided to invite my parents over for lunch. While that isn’t too much of a drama in itself (note the *too much*), that I willingly offered to do it on this weekend is now striking me as …… ‘ambitious’ when I am missing my hour’s sleep already. So dear reader, in 30 mins when I scrabble into the kitchen to start peeling potatoes and fiddling with chicken bits, I may very well wish I was like my avatar….strutting away from the entire situation, looking for a bottle of bacardi!
