Sometimes when your mind is filled with thoughts and anxiety, the best thing you can do is get your ears in place, turn up the music and go for a ride. Roller skates, scooter, bike, car: it doesn’t matter your mode of transport. Keep going til your mind clears and all you can focus on is the here and now.

Bats for Lashes

Earlier this week I mourned the loss of Summer and that Autumn was well and truly on it’s way. One thing I enjoy this time of year though, is experimenting with the gothic, dark and Halloween theme outfits and accessories that we’re spoiled with in SL. Where else could you literally wear bats for lashes? It also gives me a chance to experiment with shadows, which is one feature of SL photography I really enjoy. My friend Luca gave me the link to Satomi’s (Foxcity) windlights recently and I’ve been having a lot of fun with them. As you can see here, I’ve gone from angelic to dark shadows with merely two clicks. For all those who know me, try not to chuckle on the angelic reference. Everyone knows I’m an angel.

Glamorous Rock n Roll

Who said rock n roll needed to be grungy, dingy and grim? Not me! I’m excited because tomorrow I’m heading into London to see one of my favourite rock bands in action. Not only am I seeing them headline, I’ve managed to grab tickets for a small acoustic set before the main gig. So think of me tomorrow at 6pm, while I scream like a fan girl and then laugh at myself for my own giddiness!
