Yule time

I am not a fan of cold weather, but there is one thing about it I do like very much. It’s the thought of wrapping up warm in front of a roaring fire while the cold is outside. I can just see myself right now, curled up on this chair, wrapped in a blanket with a book, periodically watching the kitten play and trying to stop her destroying the presents. It’s a homely thought and one I’ll enjoy for the rest of the day (stuck in work…boo!)

…..or “Time to crack open the shiraz” as I also like to call this time of year. I should really be slapping myself on the wrist as I mentally told myself no festive blog posts before the 1st December. But, there you go. I suppose rules are meant to be broken. I’m going to squarely place the blame on this cute sweater dress I’m wearing because, well, it makes me feel festive (mutters). I’m also going to place the blame squarely with this pose because, well, it makes me want a large glass of one. But then again….this time of year, it’s the only way I can survive the chaos of family get togethers >.>
