Gambit

I spent this weekend watching The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix. What a treat to spend seven hours enthralled in this drama. Who knew chess could be so exciting? Well, in reality it probably isn’t, but to watch the pressures of fame, genius and political games spill out into this forum…it was fascinating to watch. The final words “Let’s Play”, spoken in Russian, by the Queen herself: sheer perfection. I turned off my television with a smile on my lips and hopes that my next tv viewing will be as exciting.

If you haven’t been to FaMESHed yet, I suggest you do! The event runs every month from the 1st to the 27th, offering original mesh designs to us residents. There’s always a plethora of home and garden items, clothing, accessories and hair to choose from. This month is extra special because it’s their 8th year anniversary round and nearly every vendor has a group gift available.
