I had some fun checking out The Wash this week as their biannual cart sale is in full swing. All cart items are priced at 50L max and at least one item is 10L. Ohh I’m so excited! A new month means new hunts, events and releases inworld and November is no different. We are spoiled by our incredible designers, as always. The Jerky Turkey Hunt is back this month, so you better get your hunting gang together and find that pesky turkey because he’s loose on the grid. Our good friends at The Wash sim are back, running their biannual cart sale event. I love wandering through this sale and picking up a bargain or three, as items are no more than 50L. Finally, [QE] Designs is back from a little break and kicks off this month with a mainstore hunt! I’ve only shown a few items, but check it out for more furniture, clothing and shoessss! A good book

I love reading. It’s an activity I’ve enjoyed since I was a little girl, often reading in the car…in the dark…getting told off by my mother! I’d read anything I could get my hands on, losing myself in the characters and their stories. As a teen, I attempted writing; often poetry, often depressing,  but a learning experience nonetheless.

Even now, I’ll take a book to bed and just read for hours. More recently, I remember reading The Kite Runner for six hours straight. I didn’t put it down until I’d finished it, even though it was 2am and I was tired.

At the moment, I’m reading Stephen King’s “The Dark Tower” series and after a year, I’m finally on the penultimate novel (book six of seven). Let me tell you, THAT has been a labour of love but a superb read nonetheless. Knowing Mr King, I’m wondering if the ending will leave me aghast or annoyed, but we’ll see. That’s part of the fun of dipping your toe into another person’s world and seeing where their imagination takes you.

Suck it!

As Wynn downed her fifth cup of eggnog she wondered what her life had become. Getting sozzled to survive the family rampage on the big day. Bedecking herself in so much acrylic that she could electrocute a family of pygmy goats….or combust if she got too close to the lantern flame. Even the home decor had become a viable form of entertainment. Wynn had a vague thought of splinters in her ass as she tumbled backwards, with the final thoughts of “I really hope the nephews didn’t video this for YouTube” as she passed out in the corner.
