Vintage Feels

I love creating a mood with my clothing inworld. Time and time again I come back to the 50s to create a style, whether it’s for costume/dress up or for photography. Growing up, I used to love watching Doris Day movies, partly for their era and partly for the clothing. I can’t remember any of those movies now, but I do remember beautiful clothes, perfectly coiffured hair and red lips. Nowadays I wouldn’t choose to live in the 50s, but I smile when I think about 10 year old me, loving those movies.

Don’t you just hate it when you set up the perfect shot for your flickr and someone just ruins it. The lighting. The outfit. Heck, even the puppy is behaving for a change and trying not to hump your leg. The heels look perfect, not a hair out of place. And, then….THIS CHEEKY DEVIL comes along and ruins it! I guess I should be grateful he didn’t leave me a present on my head (I witnessed that once) – although it’s supposed to be lucky. No thanks!

Bouncy Beach Balls.

Well, I promised you a month of bikinis…..but I can provide a day at least. With balls. Well, one ball. But it’s a bouncy beach ball. What’s not to like?

The Beached Bunny Hunt has started and runs all month. All hunt info, hints and previews are available on the website HERE. There are lots of gorgeous goodies, which I’ll make sure to share with you all again.

Don’t you just hate waiting? Some people take pleasure in the anticipation. They savour that moment just before *it* happens. Whatever *it* is supposed to be. I’m not one of those people! It’s been commented before that I can be patient, but more often than not, I’m just impatient. Lol. I want it and I want it now! So, sitting and waiting for a train to arrive is not my idea of fun. Sometimes the destination is much more fun than the journey itself.
