Oh sweet sweet carbs, how I adore you….truly I do ❤ Sadly, so do my hips in rl! Needless to say, when I saw this beauty at Baja Norte today I knew I had to make it mine! Well, in pixel form anyway. I can just imagine sitting back, flicking my new layers over my shoulders, smoothing my jumpsuit, kicking off my heels and…..savouring each bite. Licking my spoon clean after I’m done. Bliss. Can’t think of a more perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon.

#Girl Boss

What is it about early Sunday mornings that cause my mind to wander? I woke early *again* because the neighbour has chickens and her rooster was crowing. 4am. Sunday morning. Sigh. Having said that, it’s put me in the mood for eggs for breakfast. Maybe I’ll ask the neighbour to provide them!

Sometimes I like to go for a little wander on Marketplace and see what new releases are available. I enjoy events, gacha and mainstore releases but there are an increasing number of ‘marketplace’ only stores and I love to see what’s out there. I’m also a sucker for a gift or bargain on Marketplace too. Often, it’ll be the way I’ll find out about a new store and then I’ll check them out further.

For me, the eye makeup and hand tattoo are lovely. Two staples for my inventory I’ll enjoy wearing again and again. Pair it with a top that clearly states to the old man “I’m in charge!” and I’m set for the day 😀

Coffee and Contemplation.

Today has been a day of revelations and contemplation for me. Food for thought. Mainly around graphics settings when photographing scenes inworld, of all things! But the one thing that has shone through for me was the number of people who came to my aid with suggestions, advice and support. It’s been really touching and all I can to these lovely people is thank you.

The Women Only Hunt – June 2017 only!

The Women Only Hunt 3 is in full swing until the 24th June, so make sure you check it out. As a free hunt, I hitched my britches and teleported all over the grid to pick up some lovely goodies to share with you folks. I really enjoy hunts because it’s a great way to discover new stores in SL. With the advent of mesh, there are so many fantastic designers inworld, it’s tough to keep up.

One thing I recommend is to grab the teleport hud you can pick up from the event office. It contains all the teleports and hunt hints in one handy hud. One piece of advice though, the hud says the Phedora gift isn’t available…trust me it is! You may have to find a separate landmark for it, but it’s worth picking up.
