Good afternoon dear reader. Well, I had the best of intentions today. I was going to spend time with a friend outdoors drinking coffee and eating cake. Alas, the British weather caught up with my plans and all we’ve had is rain today. No matter, we stayed indoors instead. My summer house would have also served this purpose perfectly, if only it existed in my real life. Next time I’ll just stay online instead 😉

Pool Party

One thing I love about the Summer is the sun! Well, sadly there is a distinct lack thereof atm in my rl, but May was glorious. Sitting in the garden most evenings just feeling the warmth seeping into my bones….ahh bliss. My point though (lol) is that Summer sun is lovely and always reminds me of holidays, beach parties, dipping my toes into a swimming pool and drinking plenty of cocktails. My Summer holiday is my mental rest time, when I switch off and just….sleep, read, eat, drink, whatever it is I want to do for a week. Only in SL would I be able to wear this bikini and get away with it, although I am loving the sheer textures. Don’t mind me, you gorgeous people. Clearly my mind still yearns for a hot summer, although we’ll pass on the sticky summer nights. Unless there’s air conditioning, then we’ll have those too.
