Time to Dance

You wouldn’t believe it but in days gone by I loved clubbing. Full on dancing like you just don’t care. Middle of the dance floor. You couldn’t hold me back. While my friends were flirting and lurking on the edge, I was out there embracing it all.

But now. Ahhhhh. Well. As I hit my middle age years (shocking because I still feel 25), the most hardcore action I see on a Friday night consists of my knitting needles and a pattern for slipper socks. My 20 year old self would recoil in horror. She would be mortified and more determined to dance. My middle age self though, she’s loving the pattern and the slippers look so comfortable.

Rescue me. Now. Please.

In the Summer Sun.

Today it’s been hot. HOT. Hot in areas of my body that no lady should feel the heat from. Ok, I know that sounds strange but sweaty backs of knees…..I didn’t even know that was a thing, but I do now!! That’s why this milkshake is so appealing to me today. I literally want to lie back and chug down ice cream. Never mind the calories: cool my throat down now!

As shoppers we are spoiled in SL. There are a plethora of events, gacha, new releases and sales we can choose from on a weekly basis.
