Ring my bell?

I feel like this pose demands a doorbell. Well, *something* that I can push my finger onto and…ring. A doorbell seems the most “innocent” object to suggest and we all know I’m an innocent lady. As pure as my handbag. I’m a huge lover of colour and the summery tones of my dress and heels just make my heart sing. There is also a tie dye version of this dress but pretty flamingos – definitely. The heels are also worth checking out because the ribbons can be both ankle wraps and calf wrapped. Ahhh Mr Gos, you know how to tempt us; you naughty man. On that note, I’m going to take my freshly curled hair and go find me a doorbell to *ahem* push. Toodles 😉

Well, looking at my slightly glazed look, it could well be! Thank goodness it’s Friday. Honestly, it’s been another one of those weeks where I don’t know if I’m drowning or coping. I’ll let you know next week perhaps. I’ll probably still be drowning in work then too. Who knows?

This week, I’ve been really touched by friends kindness and thoughtfulness. The Mister consoled me yesterday as I had a weepy blip. Today, a group of friends I hold dear have made me smile, laugh and feel so grateful with their contributions on Facebook. There is so much good in the world, so much love and kindness. Let’s not forget that as we deal with the day to day *crap* that bombards us x

You Do Something to Me

Anyone who knows me knows I adore music. Love it. Live it. Breathe it. There are lots of brilliant quotes about how music is what feelings sound like. A quick google will find a plethora of them. I love to discover music in new places, whether it’s a tv show, an advert, movie score. Often I’ll be found shazam’ing clips of music, trying to place the song and that’s exactly what I did with the below track. Paul Weller sang the version I first heard, but this Skunk Anansie version….it’s stunning….plus it’s sung by a woman who completely kicks ass 😉 This song does something to me and I hope it does something to you too x
