One thing i’ve never understood about horror movies is the gratuitous use of blood and stabby stabby motions. Surely the point of a scary movie is to build tension, make your mind race and then piece by piece, instill fear in you? Some of the scariest movies I’ve seen are those that don’t throw pints of blood at people but just….simmer. The other thing I’ve never understood about horror movies is the need to dress the female characters in white. Surely red makes much more sense? After all it hides the bloodstains better. Admittedly, the likes of Fairy and Persil must find their product sales soar, but all I can think of is the hassle trying to get the blood out of your clothes afterwards. How messy *wrinkles nose*
