Only Time

Sometimes it’s a challenge to start writing a blog post. Sometimes it’s easy and the words flow. After you’ve been blogging for a while you don’t want to sound like a broken record, repeating the same information over and over. The last couple of weeks have been a blur in my real life; sadly a close relative passed away suddenly and my time has been spent with family. Things appear to be calming for the interim period, so I can consider the luxury of taking some time to blog and chat with you. My SL experience has always been about taking a break from reality, dressing up my “dolly” and writing about whatever’s in my head. I am sure we’ll be back to normal, but for now….what is normal? Only time will tell x

Back to School

I’m in the last few days of holiday before the inevitable return to work next Monday. Urgh. But, the rl bills gotta get paid or the sl girly won’t have any fun. So, yes back to work reminds me of those long past days of back to school. Packing the bag, making sure you have all the correct equipment…have you done your homework?! It’s Friiiiiiiiiiday people!!! Or, as I like to affectionately call it, it’s Friiiiiiiiiiii-Yay! What a week. I’m absolutely shattered. A lot of RL commitments came to a head but it’s now peace and quiet until the end of January. Well, as peaceful and as quiet as SL will allow 😀 Oh, and there’s a couple of big celebrations before January. Time is running away from me! Happy Fall.

I love Fall or as we Brits like to call it, Autumn. Yes, like Spring it’s a transitional season. But I love the colours that seem to emerge on the trees – all the browns, yellows and oranges. Earthy tones. It’s a season to wrap up warm, but there are sunny days and still opportunities to go out for walks. I don’t feel hemmed in by the weather and there certainly isn’t any Christmas music on the radio….yet! So, Happy Fall, dear reader. I hope you get plenty of Pumpkin Kisses and Harvest Wishes. Failing that, there’s always Spring to look forward to – although now I am wishing my life away!
