Summer Fun Time

I love summer time; the hazy Friday afternoons where you can just sit back and enjoy a drink in a beer garden. The smell of BBQ wafting in the air. A chance to take a dip and cool down. Usually summer time for me means holidays, good food and drink. Oh, and plenty of sunshine, of course!

Being a Brit, we tend to get more rain in the year than anything else. It’s one of the reasons the home I have inworld is permanent beach/summer. A perfect cure for the misery outside my window. In fact, here’s a close up so you can see my tan lines in action:

I’ll admit, any excuse for some cute jewellery and a fab swimsuit. Love it 🙂

Knock me down, I get straight back up again.

A couple of years ago, I learned how to ride a scooter for the first time. “A big deal?” You ask. For me, yes it is. It shows me that if I want to achieve something, I can and will. If I get knocked back, I’ll keep going until I get the hang of it. It’s something I did for me. No one else. That makes me smile every time I ride it.

This gacha set from Madpea reminds me of my first experiences on my scooter. The balloon helmet would have been very useful (as well as the balloon scooter, which you have to check out!) It’s all about the Bass

No Treble *winks*

This week has been an interesting one so far. I’ve been called a corrupter far too many times for my liking! A surprise, considering my friends are far more corrupt than me. Honest! Girl Scouts honour (fingers crossed behind my back).

One of the things I love inworld is to find a bar to hang out in and listen to music. Rock is my vice, although sometimes I have a real yearning to go to a blues club and lose myself in the music. It’s why this new gacha set from Madpea appeals to me; retro yet modern. The players are interactive and are available for a limited time at the Man Cave event. Coupled with this ‘The Bar’ sign, I’m ready to sit back and enjoy the tunes at my latest hangout, the Twisted Cork Wine & Rock Bar. Maybe I’ll see you there sometime?
