Enchanted

Good morning dear reader. Here we are, the start of a new month and already exciting new hunts to enjoy. There are also events from June that are ending early into this month, so still time to grab a last min purchase.

The FabFree Enchanted Forest Hunt has me in a fantasy mood today. The new release Lelutka EVO X Heads have certainly brought the fae out to play, with the lovely animated elf ears included in each pack. After all, no one can ignore the huuge influx of rigged earrings for the human and elf ears and I love it. Rigged earrings make life so much easier, although for creators, a lot more fiddly, so thank you ❤ Just to note, make sure you keep checking for updates on the EVO heads using the redelivery hud in your pack. I believe there will be a number of updates released over the next few weeks, so plenty of fun to be had by all x

The truth isn’t always what you want to hear

I remember visiting a Tarot card reader once. I don’t know how she did it, but she picked up on some things that made me burst into tears right in front of her. The observations touched a nerve…well more than that. The observations sandblasted the nerve red raw and left me exposed. I believe the lady I spoke with that day was sincere in her good intentions. But I also learned an important lesson. Sometimes, those observations, those good words…they aren’t always what you want to hear. They can do more damage than good. Perhaps some things shouldn’t be known. I’ve never been to one since.

I want to show you some more detail of the Kei Spot modular carnival, because I cannot do this fatpack justice. It’s a new release, at UBER, after which it’ll be at the mainstore. All four sections have their individual animations, so you can get some snacks after your virtual tarot card reading or have your face painted. There’s a gyazo walk through in the credits, kindly provided by the store owner. With Summer nearly here (and if you’re in the UK you’ll know what a joke that’s turning out to be), I’m hoping for some more outdoor activities soon!

Honestly, if you could see the state of my garden you’d appreciate how pixel art truly imitates real life!

I’m not quite at the stage where I’m wandering the wilds in tribal tattoos and torn clothing, but some days feel close to it. I suspect I should channel my inner Charlie Dimmock and dive straight in with a weed whacker. But sadly, this is not the way. Instead, I shall emulate baby Yoda and eat chicken nuggies. Far more civilised 😉

Flowers and Bees

Well, my lovelies. Here we are again. Midweek and I always wonder….how have I survived thus far? I also wonder…..how can I keep going? The sun and beginnings of Summer sunshine help. It stirs memories of warm skin, sitting in the garden and letting the hazy heat envelope me. Listening to the lazy buzzings of fat bumblebees as they fly around my garden. I wondered where the make their honey. More often though, I hoped they weren’t getting too close to me. This scene reminds me of the warmth to come and I can’t wait! Enjoy x
