Some days, I wish I looked this sophisticated as I headed into work. Coffee in hand, perfectly applied makeup, not a single hair out of place. Ok, scrap that….EVERY day I wish I looked this sophisticated! In reality, it very often is a mad scramble out of the door, hair still damp (thank goodness I cut it all off this summer) with Princess Kitty demanding some form of attention.

In the meantime, I shall continue to look gorgeous in my perfectly prepared outfit. At least in one world, I look like I know what I’m doing!

I think this dress should be everyone’s mantra at least once in their life. Cast off the “forced romantic” notions of Valentines and just have a drink instead. Enjoy being single and embrace spending time with yourself. Love yourself. Not literally…although you could…but metaphorically! Vodka is the suggested tipple of choice but hey, if it’s wet..why not?!

Yuletide

 

There’s something about this little robin that I can’t help but be drawn to. That he’s sitting there, guiding me, a little light in his beak showing me the way. It comforts me.
