Is it Autumn yet?

As you can see from my picture today, I’m feeling pulled in two directions. We’re still experiencing some Summer warmth in the UK (well, it’s still early September) but already I can feel Autumn’s grip pulling me towards her. Sweaters, pumpkin spice latte, Halloween, dare I admit I saw my first Christmas advert on the tv the other night? All of these signs show me that “Winter is Coming” (Ahh Jon Snow you have so much to answer for!”) Yet, I still want to hold on to the last remnants of Summer: sunshine on my skin, fruits, cocktails, walking barefoot in the garden and lazily thinking of nothing. Hopefully I’ll find my balance today, but something tells me that Summer won’t be here for much longer.

Indeed, Wynn was normal three cats ago….once upon a time. She frowned looking around her, pulling her cap down low over her eyes in exasperation. Fun and Games

That is probably the closest to my RL I’ve ever found in a quote, ever. Sigh. Until then, we have this weekend to enjoy and as always, there is plenty of fun on the grid to make the most of. Muggleborn have this fab lounge wear set at the Mesh Body Addicts Fair this month. Perfect for the hot weather and not an underwire in sight. Also, there are still a few days left of the Gothic Garage Sale, which ends on the 8th August. If you like your fashion dark, moody and gothic, this is the place to grab some fantastic sale items and hunt prizes. Once you’ve finished at both events, I suggest parking yourself in front of a fan and falling asleep until Monday arrives…..or until the next event opens 😉
