Aren’t we all a duality of mixed emotions? Yin and Yang. Hopeful and Cynical. Innocent and Jaded. Sometimes when we reach for the light, we bring the darkness with us…and everything becomes tainted.

A penny for your thoughts?

I’ve previously talked before about how eyes are windows into the soul. I’ve been told I have very expressive eyes and eyebrows! If I’m shocked, for example, they will shoot up. If anything, the Boss will tease me just to see how high they can go (and they do!)

I had to share these new lashes with you from VENGE, which are currently at The Makeover Room. They are fitted for CATWA and remind me of spring meadows with tall grasses and wild flowers bending lazily in the breeze. A perfect thought for me to hold onto as our weather slowly begins to creep towards Autumn.

Saint or Sinner?

Or should that read Sinner or Saint? Most people I’ve met in my life are inherently good, decent people. Whether they always do good and decent things is another story. We all have this capacity…but circumstances, desire, anger, greed; they can get in the way sometimes. There will always be the very small minority who are just….horrible people. They are the ones I try to avoid, usually after I’ve given them one too many chances. We learn some of our greatest life lessons the hardest way.

Morocco

I’ve never been to Morocco, although I have been to some far away lands. Recently, I visited Berlin for the first time and fell in love with it. If you ever have a chance to visit, I really recommend it. Plus, I kick arse on a segway (although that’s a different story). While there, RL and I took some time to make a bucket list of places to visit before we get old and dribbly. Morocco was high on my list. Perhaps it’s an old fashioned romantic notion and my bubble will be burst when I finally travel there. I hope not. I hope it wows me as much as I want it to.
