As we struggle through another cold, wet September day I am caught up in wishful thinking. Wishful thinking of summer trips in Europe. Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Rome, Copenhagen. So many wonderful memories; so much sunshine! I miss Italian gelato, watching the moped commuters and their antics. I miss sitting al fresco, drinking hugo spritz and feeling myself unwind. So much wishful thinking today. But also, so much to look forward to. One day, soon x

My lil buddy and I spent some time this week finding the perfect spot to show off this gorgeous outfit. Honestly, I thought I’d end up with a backdrop, which I know I’ve been using too much recently. However, this amazing sim is well worth checking out if you’re looking for somewhere futuristic to photograph. Simply put, the level of detail is stunning. As a photographer, I was spoiled for choice. As a blogger I love the atmosphere it creates. I shall definitely be searching for more destinations to blog, rather than hiding on my platform. It’s time to explore ❤

One fun thing about jeans is you can dress them up or down. Basic or Luxurious. Another fun thing I’m rediscovering inworld is BoM – or for us oldies, System layers reborn on a mesh body. Back in the good ol’ days of SL (2007 for me), there wasn’t such a thing as mesh. There were layers and prims. The layers ‘painted’ an appearance onto the body and the prim attachments provided shape, flex or embellishment to the outfit. We’d forever spend our days modding prims to look realistic, although some guys would mod the prims on their pants to look bigger (insert smirk here). With the re-emergence of BoM, all these old system layers can fit again. So embrace it. Layer up and enjoy the 2007 look….but in 2020.
