Sometimes Whimsical Wynn likes to come out to play. It’s ironic my avatar isn’t more fantasy based because it’s my favourite genre to read. I love fantasy, whether it’s Gaiman, Pullman or Paolini. Wheel of time is a series I *must* start soon but where to find the time as I have to read Ready Player Two first (after my book on mudlarking and a collection of short stories called Occasional Magic.) Fantasy takes us into worlds where we can forget our woes. It’s so removed from reality; it’s complete escapism. That’s what I love about fantasy – after all who wouldn’t want to escape from their reality these days?
