I’ve never understood the mentality that some girls have; that “mean girls” vibe that you can just pick up when you walk into a room filled with groups. I remember first experiencing it at school, having moved away a few years previously and then returning home. It was clear that cliques had already formed and I was never going to quite ‘fit’. The lockers in this photo remind of those times, although now it doesn’t conjure up any emotion, just a memory of a life lesson learned. As an adult, I can choose to be part of the “mean girls” culture or not. I’d rather not. If anything, I choose to avoid it now. No thanks.
